Ionia Classic Car & Truck Show

Vehicles from generations past flood Main Street for the Annual Ionia Classic Car and Truck Show.

Rain or shine, the free event will take place from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. allowing attendees to gaze at classic and restored cars and trucks of all makes and models.

“We normally have about 230 to 250 cars down there,” said event organizer Scott Feehan, adding thousands of people attend the event to take a peek at the inside and outside of the cars.

Vehicles are entered into more than 25 classes, including “best of show,” “best street rod,” and “best paint.”  Proceeds will benefit the Ionia area food banks, which have received about $10,500 from the car show and its sponsors.
