Referral Breakfasts - 4th Tuesdays - 7:15am

Referral Breakfasts and After Hours offer businesses and organizations a free venue to get their current message out and effectively multiply their sales team. Building relationships with regular attendees is a big part of success. Others get to know you, your business, and develop a level of comfort that encourages them to refer you to their family, friends and neighbours. Make a commitment to your business to attend at least 6 through the year – you’ll be surprised at the increase in your business. Feature your business by sponsoring a Breakfast or After Hours – contact the Chamber for more information.

Referral After Hours - 2nd Thursdays - 6:15pm

Ionia Expo - 1st or 2nd weekend in March as High School is Avialable

Ionia EXPO or Ionia Free Fair Marketplace – Tips & Tricks for a Successful ROI! All exhibitors begin with one common element - a booth at a show. What you do with it determines your level of success. Here are the elements that are the foundation for a successful exhibitor experience, they are detailed on the attached pages:

Ionia Free Fair Marketplace – Last full week of July

Ambassador’s Club - 2nd Wednesdays - Even months 8am; Odd months 5:30pm

Ionia Area Ambassadors are the Ionia Area’s official welcoming committee. They represent the Chamber, serving as hosts, greeters, and volunteers . They are our goodwill ambassadors and offer additional support at such functions as open houses, business openings, theatre programs, Ionia Expo, Ionia Free Fair, parades, and other services requested by the Chamber and Ambassador President. Don’t let the idea of all work sway you – this group knows how to play and have fun while inviting everyone to join in!

Annual Awards - Last Saturday of January

Make plans to attend Ionia’s Red Carpet Event – share in the celebration as we recognize and honour individuals and businesses. Networking, refreshments, cash bar, big screen presentations followed by dinner reservations – from silks and sparkles to your favourite blue jeans – wear what makes you feel fabulous!

Legislative Coffee - 4th Mondays – Jan-Nov - 8-9am

Learn what our state Senators and Representatives are working on - what’s on the hot plate? Local county, city and township as well as commissioners and cit officials are also often in attendance to provide updates. Question & answer period at the end.

Chamber Golf Classic - 3rd Friday of May

Dust off you clubs and get in the ‘swing’ of spring with our Fabulous FUNdraiser. From golfers who love any excuse to be on the greens to ‘I’ve never swung a club’ we’ve got the game for you! Bring your own team, or we’ll be happy to pair you with someone at your skill level. Everyone’s a winner with the fun involved and the networking that’s available.
