Small Business Association of MI Dual Membership

With an annual investment in the IACC of $105 or more, you also have membership with SBAM. This group provides leadership and guidance with legislators for the bills and laws that effect small businesses in Michigan. They also offer 15 more benefits including college tuition discounts, HR solutions, Marketing solutions, Legal services & more.

Business Development

IACC continually markets the community to remain competitive and recruit new businesses, residents, and visitors to the area. The Chamber also supports new and growing businesses through our partnerships with SCORE (free and confidential business counseling) as well as SBAM Small Business Association of Michigan.

Networking

There are networking opportunities to fit any business schedule or interest including these events and programs: Referral Breakfasts and Referral After Hours, Ionia Expo, Ionia Free Fair, Ambassador’s Club, Annual Dinner, Legislative Coffee, Chamber Golf Classic, and Chamber Committees

Community Involvement

The IACC hosts events such as the Main St. Electric Light Christmas Parade, Autumn Celebration, the Ionia Expo and supports other activities that bring the community together. IACC office, located in the Armory Community Center is a ‘Welcome Center’ for visitors that provides maps, event listings, member brochures, and general business information.

Referrals & Impressions

National studies show that consumers are greatly influenced by Chambers of Commerce, as they report people are more aware of businesses who belong to chambers, they think more highly of chamber member businesses, and they are much more likely to buy goods and services from businesses who are chamber members.

Above and beyond the added credibility membership extends to a business, the Chamber provides daily referrals to residents and visitors regarding only member businesses.

Our membership is at the forefront and fingertips of area residents and visitors anytime – offering possibly the best impression and referral source for members only. We provide listings in our business directory’s – both on the web and in many forms of print.

Chamber Media

Information and updates are distributed by email as well as regular mail, keeping members abreast of Chamber events and promotional opportunities, new members, member to member information, and many other subjects. A Membership Directory/Community Guide highlighting our business community and members is distributed locally and statewide.

Business Education

IACC offers seminars & workshops with expert advice relating to sales, marketing, advertising, customer service, business finance, leadership, time management, and information technology, along with many other subjects.

Health Insurance Programs

As a sponsoring organization with the Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM) and Priority Health, our Chamber members receive access to competitive Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Priority Health Insurance Programs. Please contact these member insurance providers for more information.

Want to get your message out to other businesses and organizations?

This service is available to Chamber Members only, for nominal fees, allowing affordable and efficient marketing of their products and services within the membership.
